Russia to bolster crude oil exports from Novorossiysk in 2017

Russia is set to boost its total Urals and Siberian light crude exports from Novorossiysk to 8.1 million tons from January to March 2017, which would constitute an increase of over 1.3 million tons relative to the results from the fourth quarter of 2016, Reuters reported.

The Russian government’s estimated export data show that the country’s Siberian light crude oil export from the Novorossiysk port would stand at 1.1 million tons in the first quarter of 2017.

Urals exports from Russian Baltic ports are expected to decrease to 20.9 million tons from January to March 2017.

Exports from the Primorsk port are anticipated to fall by 1.5 million tons to 12.3 million tons from January to March 2017 relative to the figures from the fourth quarter of 2016.

In the first quarter of 2017, exports from the Ust-Luga port will increase by 0.7 million tons to 8.6 million tons.
