Officials of the Russian Federal Customs Service have discovered the operations of an organized group that was bringing luxury yachts from Italy and England without paying import tariffs. The smuggling business was active from 2007 to 2009.

The Transport Investigation Department of Moscow has initiated a criminal complaint against the directors and workers of AG Marin and the Burevestnik yacht club. Customs officers are also implicated in the crime, and criminal charges against them are pending.
