Anderson Cattle Company Ltd. plans to run a livestock farm to produce beef in the Voronezh region. The project received media attention for the first time when the regional Governor Mr. Alexey Gordeyev met with Geoff Verhoff of the Akin Gump law firm that is representing the Anderson Cattle Company Ltd. in the negotiations with local officials.

The American company has come forward with an offer of creating a cattle farm where the complete cycle of livestock production would ultimately be coordinated, from genetic testing, a calf and fodder supply chain, feedlots, to a meat processing plant capable of processing as much as 2 000 animals daily. Investment figures have been estimated in the range of several hundreds of millions USD. The American entity is preparing to open a company in Russia to begin implementing its business plan.
