Tverskaya is among the ten most expensive places for shopping space

Commercial brokerage Colliers International rated the Tverskaya Street in Moscow as one of the ten most expensive places to rent a store. The Colliers’ report showed that the rent of commercial space is USD 7 413 per one square meter. The cost of rent increased by 21.3 percent. At the same time, the most expensive retail locations in the world are in New York. Rentals on Fifth Avenue are USD 23 134 per square meter.

The Colliers’ report indicated that the cost of rent in New York increased by 72 percent on a year-on-year basis.
