Russian company Evraz Group S.A. is making preparations to increase its output of pipe at U.S. production facilities to 250 thousand tons by August 2012. The company will begin the production of pipe meeting the API (American Petroleum Institute) in the near future.

The decision of Evraz to increase its production capacity substantially is based on the ever increasing demand for oil tubular products in the United States.

At the same time, the company has not released the figure of its total investment.

Evraz is among the biggest metals and mining conglomerates in Russia that has full integration. The company’s assets are controlled by Evraz Holding.
