Byelorussian Steel Works: excellent product delivery to the U.S.

Republican Unitary Enterprise Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) is a modern ferrous metallurgy business. The headquarters of the company as well as it production facilities are located in Zhlobin, Republic of Belarus. N.V. Andrianov is the Director General of RUE Byelorussian Steel Works. The plant was built and erected on a “turn-key” basis by foreign companies, which, among others, included such firms as Voest-Alpine (Austria) and Danieli (Italy).

October 15, 1984, the day the plant began to process steel for the first time, is considered to be BMZ’s birthday. The hallmark of Byelorussian Steel Works is that the company produces fine and large structural and rolled products, as well as concast billets, steel cord, and different kinds of wire.

The principal line of work that BMZ carries out involves steel-making, rolling production, and steel cord production. In addition to providing analytical, research, and testing services, the company operates several subsidiary and power-engineering plants.

At the present time, BMZ’s capacities allow the plant to produce more than 1.3 million tons of rolled products, 50 thousand tons of steel cord, 13 thousand tons of bead wire, more than 25 thousand tons brass-coated hose reinforcement steel wire, and 35 thousand tons of steel wire per year.

Byelorussian Steel Works’s excellent location at the crossroads of international highway systems and railways, as well as the plant’s proximity to the bordering countries assures successful business development.

BMZ products have received recognition on the world market. The plant has a number of certificates and various international diplomas.

We consider satisfying our customers, maintaining active relationships with our clients, and guaranteeing high quality standards to be the main objectives of our strategic policy.
