Russian oil output up

In January-March 2012, Russia produced 128 458mn metric tons (944.17mn bbl) of oil and gas condensate, up 2.5% from the same period of last year, according to the Central Dispatcher Office of the fuel and energy sector.

Oil exports to countries outside the C.I.S. fell 1.5% in the specified period, to 52.135mn tons (383.19mn bbl).

Russia’s gas output grew 1.5% in the first quarter of 2012 compared to a year before and stood at 185.511 bcm (6.55 tcf).
