On May 24, 2011, the Russian President informed the Commission on Modernization that he issued orders to create a federal regulatory agency responsible for intellectual property rights.

» Law on advertising changed

Dmitry Medvedev signed a legislative measure amending existing laws relative to advertising. The measure was first passed by the State Duma on May 13 and then by the Federation Council on May 25.
