» New plywood mill worth USD 220 mln. successfully launched

The Krasnoyarsk regional office of VTB has reported that the Yenisei Plywood Mill valued at over USD 220 million recently commenced operations. VTB is one of the biggest project investors. The mill includes the first production line for making wood veneer.

The new asset, Investlesprom-Lesozagotovka will integrate the plants of three major woodworking companies, including SLZK in Karelia, Onegales in Arkhangel’sk, and Kipelovo in Vologda. Investlesprom plans to finish consolidating activities in the fall of 2011.
