The online security services provider AVG intends to strengthen its relationship with the leading Russian search engine Yandex. The new AVG AntiVirus PR03.3 internet and mobile privacy and malware detection package will be accompanied by a perpetual license if purchased from Yandex.
The AntiVirus PR03.3 package is considered to be the developer’s premium-class security application for portable devices, offering protection from malware, Trojan viruses, spyware and computer hijacking.
According to AVG’s Omri Sigelman, the increasing number of mobile devices linked with the internet resulted in a more widespread risk of cyber intrusions. Mr. Sigelman stated that AVG was pleased to join forces with Yandex and extend greater cybersecurity services to Russian consumers. Mr. Sigelman further noted that AntiVirus PR03.3 features powerful computer applications that enable on-the-go scanning, tuning, energy supply control, and privacy protection. Overall, the tools available significantly enhance the operations of Android devices.
Industry analysts have noted that the cooperation of Yandex and AVG with the AntiVirus package is yet another initiative advancing the relations of the two companies. As such, AVG’s Safeguard Toolbar is already available to the users of the Yandex search engine in the country of Turkey. The features built into AntiVirus PR03.3 include application scanner, camera trap, file scanner, and SIM lock.
