Aeroflot passenger flow up

Last year, the Russian airline Aeroflot carried 17,656,000 passengers, flying some 50.533 billion passenger-kilometers. In relation to the results for the year 2011, the volume of passengers transported increased by 24.6 percent, or 3,482,000 passengers. The passenger turnover rose by 20.3 percent to 8.512 billion passenger-kilometers.

The passenger load factor in 2012 was 77.9 percent, exceeding the result of the previous year by 0.4 percentage points, the airline said.
