BASF launched the first plant in Moscow

The opening of BASF’s first production facility for the mixing of chemical additives used in concrete took place in Podolekiy district, Moscow region. The production facility is one of several shops at the industrial complex of the concern. According to the company’s report, the volume of the concrete additives market in Russia is about 140 million Euros annually. The complex in the Podolekiy district will have more than 30 kinds of additives, including the latest generation of products based on polycarboxylate ether (PCE). Total investment in the project amounted to approximately 10 million Euros, said CEO of BASF Building Systems, the company’s Russian subsidiary group, Sergei Vetlov.
