Coca Cola increased sales in Russia

The sales in Russia of the world leading soft drink company Coca-Cola in the second quarter of 2012 increased by nine percent compared with the same period one year earlier, the company said.

In the first quarter of this year Coca-Cola showed more modest growth (3 percent). The positive dynamics in the second quarter is attributable to higher sales of carbonated beverages, including those of the Coca-Cola brand, which increased by 23 percent, Fanta, which increased by 26 percent, and Sprite, which went up by 12 percent, the company said.
