A large construction materials manufacturing facility with a total investment of about 500 million roubles will be opened in Kostroma in January 2013, according to Vadim Kozyrev, the representative of the investment company Kostroma Concrete-mixing Plant.

The plant’s daily production will be 500 square meters of concrete slabs for high-rise and low-rise housing, as well as concrete wall structures, curbs, and paving slabs. It is expected that the first concrete slab will be turned out in January 2013

Funding in the amount of more than 200 million roubles has already been provided for the construction of the plant in Kostroma. Within the next five years, it is planned to invest 300 million roubles. In addition to the plant for the production of concrete slabs, the investor intends in 2013 to build three to five concrete mini-mills in the region with the price tag of 20 million roubles each.
