At least ten sets of foreign-made military equipment are going to be shipped to Kazan, Russia in August and September that will be installed on the Russian-made Mi-17V5 helicopters and delivered to Afghanistan pursuant to an agreement with the American Defense Department. Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, deputy head of the Russian Federal Military-Technological Cooperation Service, said that the first two sets of equipment are expected to be delivered to Kazan in late August and the other eight in September. The official noted that Russia does not have any disagreements with its American counterparts over the execution of the agreement.
