Cyber threats can be dealt with more effectively if all states achieve collaboration and cooperation in the area of communications technology at an international level, according to Nikolai Nikiforov, the Russian Communication Minister.

Nikiforov said that the issue of joining forces to combat cyber attacks has been discussed at a recent meeting between the United States and Russia. The Minister emphasized that cyber security was of paramount concern to Russia and that the Russian government was taking all possible measures to deal with it.
