Mr. Admiran Mutsoyev, one of the board members of the Region Group project, shared with the press the news that the creation of Dream Works parks in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Yekaterinburg will necessitate an investment of at least 2.1 billion dollars.
It has been reported earlier that the Region Group was initiating a project with the famous U.S. film studio Dream Works for the construction of several complexes encompassing shopping spaces, a movie theater, a park, a concert hall, a hotel with 500 rooms, and parking facilities.
Mr. Mutsoyev said that each of the parks will occupy an area of approximately 100,000 square meters and reach 35 meters in height. Due to its massive infrastructural needs, the construction of each park will require at least 700 million dollars.
Mr. Mutsoyev further stated that amusement rides will require 10 percent of the investment. These rides will be delivered from Italy, the U.S., and Canada. The plan is to purchase the rides from five to six different manufacturers.
The visitors will have to pay an entrance fee of 1,200 to 1,500 roubles. This fee will grant visitors access to all the rides.
