EuroChem invests USD1.5 million

EuroChem, based in Russia, is on the list of the topmost fertilizer producers in the world. The company has now developed plans to build a plant in the United States, specifically in the state of Louisiana. Project costs are estimated to be about USD1.5 million.

By setting up the new plant, EuroChem will be able to produce goods in the United States, while gaining access to the local markets, and availing itself of other promotional opportunities. The project is expected to be completed in the span of four years. The details of the venture and EuroChem’s plans will be finalized in the coming months.
