TechnoNicol is a European company that is engaged in manufacturing insulating materials, waterproofing, and roofing. Recently, it launched its second plant in Ryazan, a region in central Russia. The new industrial facility will produce Shinglas flexible shingles.

The plant’s production lines were planned and created in the U.S. These lines are of extremely high quality and are beyond comparison to any other manufacturing facility in the C.I.S., Europe, or Russia. The construction of the plant took approximately RUR1.5 billion, which is the equivalent of USD45.3 million.

By the year 2012, TechnoNicol operated six stonewool and XPS plants in Russia and controlled almost 39 percent of the country’s stonewool market.
