Foreign investment in Pskov

Foreign investment in the economy of the northwest Russian Pskov region shot up 90% in January through September 2011 year-on-year, to $51.29mn.

The region received investments from 12 countries in the reporting period – Austria, Latvia, Denmark, Cyprus, Belarus, Estonia, Norway, the United States, Lithuania, Sweden, Ireland, and the Seychelles.

The largest foreign investment was made in farming, hunting, and forestry.
