Foreign trade surplus up 3.9 percent

The trade surplus in January-October 2012 increased 3.9 percent compared to the same period of 2011, reaching USD176.3 billion, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) reported. Imports to Russia in January-October 2012 increased by 2.5 percent compared to the previous year, going up to USD255.7 billion, exports from Russia also increased by 3.1 percent to USD432 billion.
