Gazprom discovered new gas reserves

Gazprom International, the operator of the overseas projects of the Russian gas giant Gazprom, discovered a new oil and gas reservoir while drilling an exploratory well North Zemle al-Rekeb-1 in the El Assel block in Algeria. The well is located in the Berkin geological basin in the east Algerian Sahara. Daily production volumes of about 13,000 cubic meters of gas and up to 82 cubic meters of oil were recorded at the well. The depth of the well is 5,310 meters.
