Expert Council of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives has approved a project to build a plant for the production of innovative glucose-fructose syrups (GFS). The production capacity of the plant will enable it to produce 43 thousand tons of sugar substitutes per year, or 131 tons per day. The developer of the project, the UGgroup from Moscow, estimated the total project cost at 3.7 billion roubles. The investors are considering the Chelyabinsk region as one of the potential sites for the construction of the plant.
