KAMAZ increased production
Russia’s largest truck manufacturer KAMAZ increased car production by 13 percent up to 31 thousand units in the first seven months of 2012 compared to the totals for the same period of the previous year, according to the press service of KAMAZ.
In July, the company produced more than four thousand vehicles. The company’s engine plant and the joint venture Cummins Kama produced and delivered to its customers 4.4 thousand engines and power units in July alone. The figure of engines produced since the beginning of the year is nearly 33,000 units, a nine percent increase over the same period the previous year.
KAMAZ also shipped to its customers spare parts made in the first seven months of the year, with the total cost of 8.2 billion roubles, which is twice higher than the results from January to July of the previous year.
