Russia’s leading truck maker Kamaz and the Belgian division of the Swedish industrial corporation Atlas Copco are implementing an investment project to optimize energy efficiency in compressed air production.

The decentralized compressed air supply to Kamaz is a large investment project with a RUR500mn ($17mn, or (EURO)12.8mn) budget aimed at saving the truck manufacturer over RUR200mn ($6.8mn, or (EURO)5.1mn) annually by cutting spending on electricity.
