In the third quarter of 2012, the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum Plant (KrAZ) produced 250.067 thousand tons of aluminum, 672 tons more than what was produced in the same period of the previous year. The company also increased the production of value-added products. During the period of July-September 2012, KrAZ delivered more than 710 thousand tons of the metal, surpassing the previous year’s result by 684 tons (an increase of about 1 percent). The share of value-added products, including alloys and high purity aluminum, stood at 28.4 percent in the total production volume of the aluminum smelter. This result is the best in the history of the plant.
