Diamonds Anabara, a subsidiary of ALROSA, filed a federal antimonopoly service (FAS) application for the acquisition of 100 percent of the voting shares of Lower Lena, one of the largest independent producers of diamonds in Russia.

FAS has requested from Lower Lena additional information on the transaction, finding insufficient the documents and information produced so far. The review of the application has been extended for two months.
