Loans to the population rose by 12 percent
The aggregate retail loan portfolio of the top-most consumer credit banks rose by 11.69 percent to 5.3 trillion roubles. Seven out of 30 banks increased their loan portfolios by more than 15 percent. The frontrunner in consumer credit is Tinkoff Credit Systems. Its retail credit portfolio in April-June increased by 31.97 percent, or 8.7 billion roubles. Consumer loans of Sovcombank accounted for 22.16 percent, or 6.3 billion roubles. The bank’s portfolio of consumer loans increased by 4.4 billion roubles in the course of the last three years. Credit Bank of Moscow increased its portfolio of retail loans by 19.07 percent, or 6.1 billion roubles. Here, too, the main growth was in the long-term loans over three years: their volume increased by 4.9 billion roubles.
