Lukoil is looking for a partner

Lukoil is interested in attracting a partner to take ownership of 25 percent in the Iraqi project West Qurna-2, according to the president of Russia’s largest private oil producer Vagit Alekperov. The company has so far been successful at commencing its implementation of the West Qurna-2 project. Production is expected to begin at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next year. Initial production volumes are expected at 150,000 barrels per day.
