Mail.ru in the U.S.

The Mail.ru group established its brand in the United States and started offering services to U.S. customers. Dmitry Grishin, the co-founder and chief of the company, said that the company’s dominating role on the Russian market was achieved thanks to the business acumen of its administrators and the engineering abilities of its programmers. Now, Mail.ru is expanding to the global market, taking advantage of the experience it accumulated.

My.com is the subsidiary of Mail.ru in California, located in the town of Mountain View. On October 1, 2013, Mail.ru made an announcement that it was expanding outside of the Russian and the C.I.S. markets. The goal of the company is to launch its main products, such as games, messengers, and mail services within those new markets.

New names had to be developed to market the services of the company. Mail.ru introduced myMail, myChat, and myGames services on the U.S. market. The service named myMail incorporates many other popular features from Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, AOL, and others. The mobile messenger myChat allows exchanging SMS messages, conducting video conferencing, and making voice calls. Both myChat and myGames are supported by iOS and Android.

The myGames service provides free-of-charge games. Jungle Heat is one of the games offered through myGames. It was already released in the United States and has become one of the top 25 best games for Android.
