McFaul criticized media

Michael McFaul, U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Federation, expressed anger over media reports stating that the U.S. Administration in Washington, D.C. consistently favored and sponsored Russia’s opposition movements. Ambassador McFaul stated that his meeting with Alexei Navalny lasted no more than thirty seconds at a public event. In Ambassador McFaul’s view, the reports in the Russian media are nothing short of propagandistic. He emphasized that nothing makes him angrier in Moscow than reports in the Russian media of U.S. involvement in the support of opposition factions in Russia.
