Investments in fixed assets of enterprises and organizations in the Tyumen region in January-June 2012 amounted to 62.85 billion roubles, the press service of the governor of the Tyumen region announced at a press conference in late August.

More than 30 percent of all investments in this period were directed to the construction of buildings and other structures; 46 percent for the purchase of machinery, equipment, and vehicles; almost 16 percent to building housing.

Investment in fixed assets by groups of enterprises and organizations (excluding small businesses and investments which are not observed by direct statistical methods) totaled 33.8 billion roubles, or 61.7 percent of the total investment.
