Nestle will open a new Maggi factory

Food processing company Nestle, which positions itself as a health and wellness products manufacturer, plans to invest close to 2.6 billion roubles (roughly USD80 million) into building a new Maggi factory in Russia.

The new Maggi factory will be located in the town of Vyazniki, Vladimir region. The new facility is expected to reach the output of 30,000 tons of various seasoning, sauce, dry soup, puree, and bouillon products every year. The goods produced at the factory of Maggi in Vyazniki will be shipped to consumers across Russia and the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States for retail at supermarkets and grocery stores. More than 600 new jobs will be created in the area.
