New urea line commissioned

Russian mineral fertilizer producer Acron has commissioned a new urea line at its plant in Veliky Novgorod in northwest Russia.

Acron started working on the Urea 1000 project in 2008, and a full-scale construction of the new urea line began in 2010. The company invested $95mn in the project.

The new line’s capacity is 335 000 metric tons annually.
