Oil exports reduced by 2.5 percent

Oil exports from Russia in January-June 2012 decreased by 2.5 percent compared to the same period in 2011, down to 118.7 million tons, according to Rosstat. The share of oil in total Russian exports in the first six months of this year was 35.1 percent, and in exports of energy products 49.3 percent (in January-June 2011, the figures were 36.3 percent and 51.1 percent, respectively).

The average actual export price of oil in June fell by 11.3 percent compared to May to USD688.1 per ton. As such, the world market price for Russian export oil of the Urals brand was USD682.1 per ton (down by 14.2 percent).
