Oil refining in Russia up

Primary oil refining in Russia in January-November 2011 increased 2.6% year-on-year, to 233mn metric tons (1.71bn bbl), RBC writes, citing Energy Ministry materials.

In November 2011, primary refining fell 0.7% compared to November of last year, to 20.79mn tons (152.81mn bbl).

Petrol production went up 1.6% to 33.38mn tons over 11 months, but fell 1.3% to 2.98mn tons in November. The output of diesel fuel increased 0.7% to 64.6mn tons over the reporting period, but fell 3.5% to 5.6mn tons in November.

Fuel oil production reached 65.62mn tons over 11 months, up 3.4% from the same period of last year, but fell 2.4% to 6.04mn tons in November.

The output of jet fuel grew 1.4% to 8.54mn tons in January-November, but fell 2.4% to 637 000 tons in November.
