The proceeds from the privatization of federal property in 2012 are expected to total 223 billion roubles, according to the Minister of Economic Development Andrei Belousov. Thus, revenues from privatization in 2012 were 1.8 times higher than in the previous record year of 2011, when they reached 121 billion roubles (including the revenue from the sale of a 10-percent stake in VTB for 95.7 billion roubles).
