The company from the Urals finds a representative in the U.S.
Zlatoust Arms Company’s participation in the Shot show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in February was very successful. The Shot show is the largest shooting, hunting, and outdoor industry trade exhibit in the United States. According to the show’s organizers, Shot show 2008 attracted 30 686 buyers, 1 725 members of the press, 25 854 exhibiting personnel and 504 guests from 75 countries.
“Business was better than ever at this year’s show,” noted to Aleksandr Sonich, director of Zlatoust Arms Company.
“We’ve been to the Shot show before and this is the busiest one we’ve ever worked at. We didn’t even lose booth traffic during the famous American Super Bowl,” Mr. Sonich added.
Zlatoust Arms Company was one of five Russian companies to exhibit at the Shot show in 2008.
“I am delighted that more and more people are getting to know ZOK,” Aleksandr Sonich said. “We received a lot of compliments on our highly-artistic decorated blades. Visitors of the Shot show from many countries of the world were very impressed with the techniques we use, such as nickelling, silvering, gilding and incrustation with precious and semiprecious stones. Also people were very surprised by the diversity of the products we are offering today to our customers. These are not only knifes, but also daggers and dirks, sabers and stylets, swords and katanas, as well as hunting and wine sets, cups, exclusive souvenirs and gifts…”

According to Mr. Sonich, several big retailers from Europe wanted to be exclusive dealers for ZOK in their countries. The most exciting news for ZOK is that the company now has an official representative in the U.S.
“We signed a contract with American businessman Lyn Anglin who owns several businesses in Atlanta and Oklahoma City,” Mr. Sonich said. “A new company was created under the name ZOK Blades USA. The warehouse is open in Oklahoma City. We are very excited about the opportunities on the American market.”
