Reserve Fund reaches USD 26.55 billion

The Reserve Fund of the Russian Federation totaled RUR 734.98 billion, or USD 26.55 billion, on the last day of July 2011, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The balance of the fund’s accounts stood at USD 11.08 billion, or EUR 9.04 billion. Revenues from the interest on the deposits of the fund’s reserves on foreign currency accounts with the Central Bank reached USD 250 million (RUR 6.98 billion) over the period from January 15, 2011 to July 31, 2011.

The National Wealth Fund of Russia held RUR 2.56604 trillion, or USD 92.70 billion as of the last day of June, down from RUR 2.6 trillion at the start of the month.
