Rosgosstrakh, Russia’s largest insurer, increased its net profit under RAS for the first half of the year by more than seven times to 1.339 billion roubles, as follows from the company’s financial statements.
The total amount of premiums collected by the company for the first half of the current year increased by 16.3 percent to 48.337 billion roubles. The total amount of insurance payouts fell by 4.6 percent to 19.275 billion roubles.
In the structure of the insurance premiums over 19.8 billion roubles were from the collection of compulsory auto insurance payments. Full coverage auto insurance accounted for nine billion roubles. The fees for health insurance exceeded 3.2 billion roubles. Insurance against accidents and unexpected illnesses brought in 1 billion roubles, and cargo insurance 811 million roubles. Proceeds from property insurance entities totaled 4.375 billion roubles.
