Russia reduced oil exports

In January 2013, Russia reduced oil exports to non-C.I.S. countries by 2.4 percent, down to 17.406 million tons (4.116 million barrels per day), according to the data from the operations report of the Central Supervisory Control Entity for the Fuel and Energy Sector. According to Transneft, in the first month of the current year, 15.380 million tons of Russian crude oil was exported to foreign countries. Nearly 2.026 million tons of crude oil was exported bypassing Transneft.
