Russia will keep fishing

This year, Russia is likely to sustain its fishing activities at the same level as in the previous year (4.3 million tons) or see the level of fishing activity slightly decline. The head of the Federal Fishery Agency Andrey Krayny further explained that an increase in fishing activity was unlikely.

As Mr. Krayny explained, the increased yield over the past year was due primarily to the forces of nature. The resources for fishing has its limits – it is about 4.5-5 million tons per year.
