Russian oil export down
According to the State Statistics Service, Russian companies produced 423.7mn metric tons (3.11bn bbl) of oil in January-October 2010, up 0.7% year-on-year. At the same time, oil exports fell 1.7% to 202.1mn tons (1.49bn bbl), including data for Belarus and Kazakhstan. As much as 214.4mn tons (1.58bn bbl) were delivered for refining, an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period of last year. Oil accounted for 35.2% of Russia’s total exports and 50.7% of the fuel and energy exports in the reporting period, up from 33.9% and 50.3%, respectively. In October 2011, the average oil export price was $766.20 per ton, down 0.4% from September 2011. Urals crude cost $791.20 per ton on the global market, down 2.8% from September 2011. Russian companies produced 10.132mn bpd in October, 9.784mn bpd in September, and 10.076mn bpd in August 2011.
