Ruukki, a European provider of components and integrated metal systems for construction and engineering, is completing the first phase of the construction of a unique production facility in the Chelyabinsk region. Ruukki is a manufacturer and a supplier of steel structures of unique plant crane equipment in Russia. The company’s primary customer is Uralkran. Production at the new facility will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2012. The plant will produce crane kits, small and medium-duty cranes with reduced metal and improved performance, as well as hoists with a capacity of up to 100 tons.
