Ryazan builds pharmaceutical facility

The construction of a pharmaceutical complex for the production of modern medicines based on nanotechnology in the village of Yaltunovo, Ryazan region is proceeding in line with the orders of President Vladimir Putin, the press service of the regional government reported. The investment project is entitled to tax benefits. The amount of state support will be 338 million roubles.

The Fort Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex will match the international GMP standard. Investment in the construction of the facility is more than 4.7 billion roubles. The annual target capacity of vaccine production is 40 million doses per year, of biotech drugs 31 million ampoules, and 12 million bottles of capsules. The enterprise will be operational in 2014.
