OJSC NOVATEK published its performance results for the three- and six-month intervals to June 30, 2012, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Revenue from sales in the second quarter and the first half of 2012 increased by 11.1 percent and 16.4 percent, respectively, compared to the same period of 2011, mainly due to increased sales volumes of gas and liquid hydrocarbons. Compared to the results for the similar time intervals of 2011, operating profits increased by 1.4 percent and 3.3 percent in the second quarter and the first half of 2012 respectively.
