Aleksandra Kolosovskaya, known as Sasha Kolos, from Stavropol, Russia has hit it big in Hollywood. She has just completed a leading role in the upcoming thriller Silent Screams, starring with Russian actor Elya Baskin (Spider-Man 2 & 3).

Silent Screams is about young Natalia (Kolos) who leaves her home and her father (Baskin) in Russia to study abroad in Los Angeles, California. Much goes wrong after a party at which Natalia is drugged and taken advantage of. The movie has received great buzz and is due to be released in August of this year.

According to an IMDb article, Sasha Kolos has been praised by critics as the best Hollywood actress in 2013 ahead of superstars Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. IMDb is the top entertainment website for information regarding films, television, actors and more. IMDb also rated Kolos as the second hottest actress in 2013 behind Scarlett Johansson (Lost in Translation, The Avengers, Iron Man 2) and ahead of Ukrainian beauty Mila Kunis (Black Swan, Ted, Friends with Benefits).

Although Silent Screams has garnered much fame, Sasha is no novice to the film industry. She has had roles in such films as Born into Mafia, The Last Vampire on Earth, Deception, Extremely Dark Knight, and To Kristen with Love. Sasha also has starring roles in the upcoming films Blood for Blood produced by Gray Frederickson, (The Godfather part I, II & III) and Night Terrors, both directed by Peter Zhmutski.

Sasha has gained stardom in Russia. In 2007 she won a dancing competition in Thailand and in 2009 she won second place in the KVN Russian national competition.
