SodaStream enters in partnership

SodaStream International Ltd., a publically-listed producer of carbonation systems for beverages, will distribute its products on the Russian market by way of an exclusive partnership. In addition, the company will simultaneously enter the markets of Chile and Singapore.

A company called Bureaucrat will distribute SodaStream products throughout Russia. Bureaucrat is a home and office solution company. It is expected that SodaStream will launch a nationwide campaign at Media Markt stores in Russia from the first quarter of 2013.

As the CEO of SodaStream Daniel Birnbaum said, the company’s expansion to three continents is bound to carry on its global carbonated beverage revolution. Mr. Birnbaum particularly noted that carbonated beverages are in extremely high demand in every market that the company contemplated entering. “SodaStream looks forward to introducing these consumers to our smarter, simpler, and more earth-friendly way to enjoy carbonated beverages,” Mr. Birnbaum said. According to SodaStream’s CEO, geographic expansion is among the company’s three pillars of growth, as is product innovation and consumer marketing. In the view of Mr. Birnbaum, the company’s vision to redefine the sector of carbonated beverages responds to the ever prevalent consumer trends in different countries of the globe.
