Surplus of 1.585 trillion roubles
The consolidated budgetary surplus in January-September 2012 amounted to 1.585 trillion roubles, according to the information published on the website of the Federal Treasury. Consolidated budgetary revenues in the nine months amounted to 16.685 trillion roubles, and expenditures to 15.1 trillion roubles. Russia’s federal budgetary surplus for the first nine months amounted to 671.159 billion roubles. Previously, the Ministry of Finance estimated it at 635.76 billion roubles, or 1.4 percent of GDP. The consolidated budgetary surplus of the Russian regions was 251.268 billion roubles. The funds of the national government recorded a surplus of 606.573 billion roubles, while the funds of Russia’s federal subjects registered a surplus of 56.406 billion roubles.
