Russia has successfully completed a launch of a telecommunication satellite for a U.S. firm SES. The satellite model that was launched is SES 6, and it is meant to replace the NSS 806 that provides digital broadcasting to North America.
The Russian Federal Space Agency has made a statement that SES 6 has already been sent off into space from Kazakhstan. The upper portion of the satellite got detached after only 10 minutes following the satellite’s takeoff.
